Create Possibilities.

Certified Management Accountants (CMAs) provide an integrating perspective to business decision-making, applying a unique blend of expertise in accounting, management and strategy to identify new market opportunities, ensure corporate accountability, and help organizations maintain a long-term competitive advantage.

There is a CMA path for you.

The path to becoming a CMA begins with a university degree and completion of prerequisite topics in accounting and business. You can complete the topics either at a post secondary institution, or through CMA in the Accelerated Program (with minimum requirements). The choice is yours. Once you’ve completed all of these prerequisites, the next step will be to demonstrate your knowledge of these topics, whether by way of an entrance exam or a CMA-accredited university program. Your final step in becoming a CMA is to complete your CMA professional studies in the Strategic Leadership Program™.

Depending on your educational background, experience and/or position within your organization, there are different options available to complete your CMA professional studies. Click below to learn more about your path to becoming a CMA.
